Cala Bassa Beach, situated on the west coast of Ibiza, truly offers something for everyone.

This stunning bay can be reached either by bus or by boat from San Antonio or, if arriving by car, you will find it clearly signposted, easy to find, and with ample parking which is well organised by the friendly and efficient parking attendants.

Comprising a curved sandy beach of around 300 metres, with wooden walkways providing access for the disabled and prams, Cala Bassa Beach is surrounded by a wooded area of ancient, gnarled Sabina trees, and boasts clear, turquoise waters and soft, pale golden sand.

Here you will find three restaurants; the Chiringo serves classic Mediterranean food and is open all year round, whilst the CBbC Restaurant with its gastronomic fusion cuisine, and the high-end Sushi Restaurant are open during Ibiza's summer season from May to October. There is also a snack bar serving pre-prepared but good quality food at reasonable prices situated on the far side of the bay, and a couple of cute little beach bars.

Jetskis and pedaloes are available for rent, and sun beds come in either single, double, or even triple variety!

With interesting sculptures dotted here and there, shops and boutiques selling clothes, beachwear, jewellery and accessories, a very relaxed treatment and massage area, along with showers, bathrooms and changing rooms, it seems that Cala Bassa Beach Clubhas thought of everything to keep all of its visitors happy. Add to this, the DJs who play a mix of lounge, chill-out and deep-house music all day, and you have something resembling the perfect Ibiza beach experience.

From couples to families, groups of friends to those enjoying the exquisite service in the VIP area, Cala Bassa Beach caters to all tastes, ages and budgets. The laid-back atmosphere, awe-inspiring surroundings and impeccable service make this an absolute must-visit during your stay on Ibiza.

Facilities: Restaurants, snack bar, beach bars. Toilets and changing rooms (very unusual for beaches)  available.

Getting there: Cala Bassa is reachable by bus or by car (15 min from San Antonio), follow signs from either the San Antonio or San José direction. Good parking facilities are available. Or (much more fun) take the ferry from San Antonio, only 15 minutes and with regular services throughout the summer.
